Stephen and Jean Gillham have been working with the Fellowship of Evangelists known as Counties as the Dorset representatives since 1973. They have been particularly involved in children’s and youth work and continue to have considerable involvement in “semi-retirement”. They are based in West Moors, Dorset. They have one son. Jonathan, he and his wife Lindsay both work in London, and have a daughter Isabel, and a son, Thomas.

June 2010 sees the official launch of our long awaited Dorset Counties Website. We are so grateful to our two friends, Steve McDonald and Lee Callaghan who have been such a help in building the website and helping me understanding the complexities of Joomla for minor maintenance and changes. We still need a Joomla expert in Dorset to help with monthly changes and updates. Any volunteers?
When Joshua was about to lead Israel across the Jordan river into the "Promised Land" his officers told the people that they must follow the Ark of the Covenant then they would know the way to go, "since you have never been this way before". We feel very much like that as we step into a new month, with the new website project at long last ready, and with Camp only weeks away. Thankfully we can keep our eyes on the one who shows us the way to go. He always knows the way and He will never let us down. I know who holds the future, and He'll guide me with His hand; with God things do n't just happen, everything by Him is planned. So as I face tomorrow with its problems large and small, I'll trust the God of miracles, give to Him my all. God bless you in June SG |
